iFLYTEK's smart space brand WallEX has entered into a collaboration with The Pinnacle Jamaica, a high-end mixed-use development in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Under the partnership, WallEX will deliver an integrated AI smart space solution covering 140 residential units and 200 hotel rooms — 340 units in total.
With a total investment of USD 450 million[1], The Pinnacle Jamaica is the largest high-rise residential development ever undertaken in western Jamaica[2]. Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness attended the groundbreaking ceremony[2], underscoring the project's significance at a national level. This collaboration marks an important milestone for WallEX in Latin America and the Caribbean, and a key step in iFLYTEK Open Platform's international expansion strategy.
The partnership comes at a time of rapid growth in the Latin American smart home market. According to industry data, the market has reached USD 3.44 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to USD 5.8 billion by 2030, at a compound annual growth rate of 11%[3]. Premium residential and hospitality developments are among the first segments to generate systematic demand for intelligent space solutions.
The Pinnacle Jamaica encompasses both residential and hotel components, placing high demands on the stability, cross-scenario coordination, and adaptability of any smart system deployed.
